## Overview
The Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, Culture Sector, represented by the National Institute of Fine Arts in Tetouan, announces the organization of a competition for admission to the Bachelor's degree program in Visual Arts for the **2026-2027** academic year. This competition aims to select **120 candidates** to pursue their studies in Plastic Arts, Design and Society, and Visual Narrative Arts specializations, distributed across the cities of **Tetouan, Agadir, Rabat/Salé, and Oujda**. The application deadline is **July 14, 2026**.

## Announced Positions
- **120 seats** for the Bachelor's degree program in Visual Arts, distributed as follows:
- **Tetouan**: A maximum of **45 seats**, distributed among:
- A maximum of 15 seats for the Plastic Arts track.
- A maximum of 15 seats for the Design and Society track.
- A maximum of 15 seats for the Visual Narrative Arts track.
- **Agadir**: A maximum of **30 seats**, distributed among:
- A maximum of 10 seats for the Plastic Arts track.

- A maximum of 10 seats for the Visual Narrative Arts track.
- **Rabat / Salé**: A maximum of **30 seats**, distributed among:
- A maximum of 10 seats for the Plastic Arts track.
- A maximum of 10 seats for the Design and Society track.
- A maximum of 10 seats for the Visual Narrative Arts track.
- **Oujda**: A maximum of **15 seats** for the Design and Society track.
## Eligibility Requirements
The competition is open to non-employed candidates who meet the following conditions:
- Must hold a **Moroccan Baccalaureate certificate** with an average equal to or greater than **12/20** (at least "mention Assez Bien") or its equivalent.
- Must be between **17 and 24 years old** at the date of the competition. No candidate born before **July 16, 2002** will be accepted.
## Required Documents
The application file consists of the following documents:
- Completed and signed application form, specifying the desired track and city of study.
- Completed and signed application form (signature certified).
- Certified copy of the Baccalaureate certificate or its equivalent.
- Candidate's Curriculum Vitae.
- Transcript for the Baccalaureate level, including grades for the first and second years of Baccalaureate.
- Certified copy of the National Identity Card.
- Copy of birth certificate.
- Two passport-sized photos.
- Digital copy of the personal artistic portfolio (including drawings and visual artistic achievements of the candidate), loaded onto a USB drive. The original artistic portfolio must be presented during the competition.
## Examination Stages
The competition will take place on **July 16, 17, and 18, 2026** in the cities chosen by the candidate for study (Tetouan, Agadir, Rabat/Salé, Oujda).
1. **Written Examination (Wednesday, July 16, 2026)**:
- Exam in the chosen visual specialization (score out of 20).
- Written test in Arabic (1 hour duration, score/10).
- Written test in French (1 hour duration, score/10).
2. **Practical Examination (Wednesday, July 16, 2026)**:
- Exam in creative visual skills (score out of 40).
- Drawing (2 hours duration, score/20).
- Painting (2 hours duration, score/20).
- **Note**: Candidates who obtain a total score equal to or greater than **30 out of 60** in both the written and practical examinations will qualify for the oral examination.
3. **Oral Examination (Thursday, July 17 and Friday, July 18, 2026)**:
- Interview with the committee for the chosen visual specialization (score out of 20).
- The candidate presents their personal artistic portfolio and the committee discusses topics related to visual arts, taking into account the level of expression in both Arabic and French.
